When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Chat channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram)

When you message us on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, we receive the messages you send, your name or profile name, and the contact and delivery details you give us to place an order (phone number, email address and delivery address). We use them only to answer your questions, take and deliver your order, confirm it with you, and give warranty and after-sales help. We do not sell your data.

Some replies on these channels may be prepared with the help of automated tools. A member of our team can take over any chat at any time, and every order is confirmed by a person with a verification call.

We share your data only with the service providers needed to run our service (for example the messaging platform you use to contact us, our website host and the couriers who deliver your order), and only the data they need.

Customer and order records are kept for up to one year after the order, unless the law requires a longer period (for example tax and warranty records), and all customer data is deleted automatically on an annual basis.

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time; see Data Deletion for how. You can also ask us to stop automated replies at any time by telling us in the chat.
